Stop Abortion!!!

I am writing to you today to protest what I feel is a grave injustice perpetuated on the American people: Abortion. Simply put murder is not a choice. Women should not have the right to murder their children, weather outside the womb or inside. I see no difference. It may be the woman’s body, but we are talking about a living child that is inside of her! How can America allow such Nazi-like practices to be allowed in the land of democracy?! I thought we fought against such atrocities in WWII? Except, they seem to be alive and well in the land of the free and the brave.
I don’t know if you are a religious, but Jesus says in Matthew 18:6 “But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” How much worse will it be for the one who murders their children? We can’t sit by idly while this great evil is plaguing our great nation! Thats why I am calling on you today to be the catalyst to change the hearts and minds of the American people, to no longer allow such atrocities in our great nation. Perhaps we can set an example for the rest of the nation to follow, that we might one day wipe out this disease. Please vote against any bill furthering the “rights” of a “mother” to kill her own child, and to force American tax payers to pay for it. I sincerely hope and pray that you would vote to reverse the legal right of abortion. Murder is not a right, it is horribly wrong and should be treated as thus in all situations.

Working out My Salvation (How may I be saved?)

Phl 2:12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
Phl 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

Come as little children...
Jesus said:
Mat 18:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
Mat 18:2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enterinto the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

It is written that we must come as little children to God. Now a child does not reason great and lofty things in his head. Therefore it would make sense that the path to eternal life probably isnt that complicated. How does a young child relate
to their parents? Well first of all he knows he is helpless and cannot save himself. He must rely on his parents for all things. So we must understand that we are not saved by ourselves but by our faith in God.

A Child Loves, Listens, and Obeys his parents. We must love God by striving to do all he says, and not try to satisfy our own wicked desires. There are two ways we can know what God wants. One is by reading the scriptures, and the second is by listening to the Holy Spirit. How can we follow God, if we don't know what he wants?

Jhn 3:2 He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him."
Jhn 3:3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
Jhn 3:4 "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"
Jhn 3:5 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
Jhn 3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
Jhn 3:7 You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again."

According to this scripture it seems to mean we must of course be baptised with water and in the spirit. The water I assume is just symbolic and is just water. Just because we are baptized doesn't mean we are saved not more that circumcision
could save the Jews without right action. I believe the water is just symbolic, and what really matters is the spiritual rebirth the water signifies. We are supposed to be born again. Dead to sin and the world, and alive in Christ. So what does this
mean? We must strive to leave the former things of the world behind:

1Cr 6:9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
1Cr 6:10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
1Cr 6:11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name
of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
1Cr 6:12 "Everything is permissible for me"--but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"--but I will not be mastered by anything.
1Cr 6:13 "Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"--but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
1Cr 6:14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also.
1Cr 6:15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and
unite them with a prostitute? Never!
1Cr 6:16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will
become one flesh."
1Cr 6:17 But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.
1Cr 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins
against his own body.
1Cr 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?
You are not your own;
1Cr 6:20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

We must turn from our sins:

Luk 13:1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
Luk 13:2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
Luk 13:3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.

However, we cannot save ourselves by being good. We cannot keep the law.

Jam 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

We are saved by faith alone and not of ourselves.

Jam 2:24 You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.

So what is faith? Faith is of course belief that Jesus died for our sins, rose again, and conquered death.

Jhn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jhn 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Jhn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath
not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

That is a start, but it is not enough.

Jam 2:19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that--and shudder.

We are not saved by works, we are saved by faith, but our faith must produce works or it is not faith at all. If someone tells you a building is on fire, and you say you believe them, but do nothing to get out of the building then you actually
didn't believe, else you would have got out. See belief produces action.

Jam 2:14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?
Jam 2:15 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food.
Jam 2:16 If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?
Jam 2:17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
Jam 2:18 But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.

Jam 2:20 You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?
Jam 2:21 Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?
Jam 2:22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.
Jam 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called God's friend.
Jam 2:24 You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.

We are commanded to bear fruit.

Jhn 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Jhn 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Jhn 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Jhn 15:5 I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Mat 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

What are these fruits?

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Eph 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Eph 5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

We are also commanded to look after the poor, widows, the childless, etc.

Mat 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
Mat 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats:
Mat 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Mat 25:33 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Mat 25:33 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Mat 25:33 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Mat 25:33 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed [thee]? or thirsty, and gave [thee] drink?
Mat 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took [thee] in? or naked, and clothed [thee]?
Mat 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
Mat 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me.
Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Mat 25:42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
Mat 25:43 [I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Mat 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Mat 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me.
Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Jam 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.

We are also commanded to spread to word.

Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

In all this we must remember to actually know the words of God and what he desires for us, we must read it, and actually seek his will!

Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
Psa 1:3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whoseleaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Rom 10:17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

So this all does seem complicated, but the basics is not. First we need to come to the realization that we are all hopelessly sinful and deserve death. No matter how many good things we do we cannot merit eternal life. If we repent and ask God for forgiveness, and believe that Jesus died for our sins, rose again, and cleansed us we will be saved. Of course we must make sure that our faith is a real faith, and not just an, intellectual faith. If you truly believe Jesus you will want to do what he says, and apply the word(bible) to your life.

Its not to hard to understand, but its easy to make it that way.

That is what I believe, and as always I am human, and make mistakes. However, I have tried to hopefully be as accurate as possible.
Now go with God and be saved.
